STEP 2a

(Objective: Create a UNIT Master record in Tally)

As mentioned earlier, we can get the XML tags from the Tally software itself. For this, we must enter few sample records in the Tally Software and then EXPORT the data in XML format. To begin with, we shall create a UNIT Master record in Tally.

• Start Tally Software 
  
  
• Create/open a  Company named "UDIMAGIC Tutorials Sample Data"
  
  
• Next, select Option :- 
  Gateway of Tally -> Inventory Info -> Units of Measure -> Create"
  
  
• Enter a UNIT Master record as given in Step-1
  (Refer Excel sheet in Step-1)
