STEP 2b

(Objective: Export the UNIT Master data in XML format)

In the Step 2(a), we had manually created a UNIT Master record in Tally. Now, we shall see how to Export the Tally Master data in XML format.

• Steps:-
  
  Export Tally Master's data in XML format using menu-option:-
   Gateway of Tally -> Display -> List of Accounts -> Alt+E
  
  
• In the dialog-box, select the options as given below :-
  
   Language = Restricted (Ascii only)
   Format = XML
   Type of Masters = Units
  
  

   (This will generate a file named MASTER.XML in the Tally folder)
