Here are some Excel Sheets templates for importing MASTERs and VOUCHERs into Tally Accounting Software using the UDIMagic utility.

A) Masters
B) Vouchers

1) UDIMagic is a robust and scalable utility that can import all Masters and Vouchers from MS-Excel into Tally Software irrespective of the Excel sheet format. All we need to do is to tell UDIMagic "What data you have in the Excel sheet and where is it stored ?". This is done using XML tags.

2) In the sample Excel sheets given below, the XML tags have been written in two ways :-
a) Within the Excel sheet itself (in Comments section) or;
b) In a separate plain text-file having xml extension

Ledger Master with Bill-by-Bill details (with detailed write-up)	No	The Ledger Opening balances contain with Bill-by-Bill (B-Y-B) details. The Bill due-dates specified in this Excel Sheet relate to period 07-08. Hence, to try out this Excel sheet you must keep the Financial Year as Apr'07-Mar'08. Remarks:-
[1] This Excel sheet is also available with the UDIMagic Demo version and gets automatically created in "c:\udi-magic" folder when UDIMagic is run for the first time

[2] A Macro-file is used. Refer this FAQ to know more about using macros (VBA) with UDIMagic.
