    RTS-XQuery Freemium is a FREE software that facilitates transfer of data from Tally Accounting Software (or XML data-file) to MS-Excel, DBF, Access, SQL-Server, MySQL and several other popular databases.

  • What is Freemium ?

    Freemium = FREE + Premium

    * RTS-XQuery Freemium Software is Free for both commercial and personal use
    * Support Services (optional) are available for a Premium (i.e. on chargeable basis)

  • I am testing RTS-XQuery Freemium. Can you provide DEMO for it ?

    No. RTS-XQuery is a FREE software and no DEMO is provided for it.
     
  • How does RTS-XQuery work ?

    The basic functionality of RTS-XQuery Freemium is as follows :-
    1) Retreive data from Tally (or XML data-file)
    2) Process it using XQuery
    3) Send it to the Destination

  • What is XQuery ?

    XQuery is a language designed to query XML data just as SQL is used to query relational databases. For more information, refer http://www.w3.org/TR/xquery/

  • Can I write XQueries on my own ?

    Yes. Lots of tutotials are available on the web for learning XQuery.  If you are familiar with SQL (Structured Query Language) then learning XQuery would be easy.

  • Do I need to install JRE (Java runtime environment) for using RTS-XQuery Freemium ?

    No. However, if JRE 1.4 or higher is installed in your system, RTS-XQuery performance would improve considerably. You can download and install Java from http://www.java.com/en/download/inc/windows_upgrade_xpi.jsp

  • Which databases are supported by RTS-XQuery ?

    RTS-XQuery supports MS-Excel and several other popular databases like Foxpro DBFs, MS-Access, SQL-Server, MySQL etc.

  • What is a Connection String ?

  • Which Tally versions are supported by RTS-XQuery Freemium ?

    RTS-XQuery Freemium supports Tally 6.3 and higher versions including Tally 7.2, Tally 9, Tally ERP 9.
